Thanks to ALL OF YOU who have participated in this conversation regarding the new rule. I know that people are frustrated. I accept that not everyone is going to like this rule. I appreciate that women are willing to voice their opinions. And now.. I TRULY HOPE that we can get past it.
We are here to support each other. It is totally okay to disagree but I really feel like this conversation may be destroying the glue of the competition.
We are all here with a common goal! We are here for friendships, support, encouragement and even the occasional kick in the butt. No one came here with the intent to hurt, or be hurt by another person. I admit that I have been taking this overly personal. I don't take the difference in opinion personal, but I do take my inability to somehow make it all better as a serious defeat.
I don't want people to change their opinions. I DO want everyone to focus on why they are here and keep working on reaching their goals.
I see the moral value in the opinions of all of you, thank you for sharing them. Now I would love nothing more than for us to rebuild our cohesion! Support one another!! And kick some butt this month.

Alrighty guys! Sorry that took me SO long! I normally use photoshop and have my cute layout that I upload, but it isn't working so I had to do some things different! You all did AWESOME this month, it was fun to see!

We want to congratulate Robyn T. !! She lost 18 lbs this month!!!!!! That's so so awesome! WAY TO GO ROBYN and keep up the GREAT work!!

Unfortunately, she did not blog every week and turned her weight in late. This makes her ineligible for the prize money this month but she will STILL be in the running for next month and overall!! Before Pictures TAKE 2!!

After seeing your concerns and excitement over the idea of requiring pictures, I've decided to outline it better and start the poll over. I want to make sure that EVERYONE understands what this rule would entail BEFORE they vote!

If the rule were to go into effect this is what the requirements would be.

* A before picture is to be taken at the beginning of the competition (or in this case ASAP). These pictures should be emailed to biglosers2009@yahoo.com where they will NOT be published, just stored!

* The before picture must be a full body picture. If you have a picture with your full body that you would like to use, you are welcome to do that.

* At the end of each month the winners would be required to take an "After Pic" in the same outfit as whatever they were wearing in their before pic. (This could be jeans and a t-shirt but preferably something that is semi-form fitting. Like jeans and a shirt that is tighter....) THERE IS NO NEED TO TAKE BIKINI OR SKIMPY CLOTHING PICS!! TAKE YOUR PICS IN SOMETHING YOU ARE COMFORTABLE WITH!

* If a person wins who is not comfortable posting their pictures on the internet, they may EMAIL the picture to biglosers2009@yahoo.com for verification. (Know that if you choose to not post them, the pics will be seen by Tammy, Melissa and Karilynn. BUT no one else HAS to see them!!)

* If a person is willing to post them on their blog they are welcome and ENCOURAGED to do it.

SO.. now that you understand what it would mean... let's try the poll thing again.

Okay, so we did not make it a rule beforehand that before pictures MUST be taken in order to win prizes. This is something that many other ONLINE weight loss competitions REQUIRE because there is no other way to VERIFY weight loss without full body images. Because the competition has already began, it would be wrong to create a new rule HOWEVER, if the majority of women are also wanting this rule to be in effect then we can add it and enforce it. SO... Let us know what you think about ADDING THIS AS A RULE by voting on the poll to the right.

Don't worry gals, if we add this rule we will start enforcing it next month and require them for the rest of the competition.

It's great to have pictures like this because no one can deny that the 17 lbs that were claimed lost are gone! So... what do you think?

*You would NOT be required to take pics in any particular outfit. We would just like you to wear the same outfit in both pictures or at least outfits that are similar to eachother AND something that is semi-form fitting. (We cannot see progress in a sweatshirt!) Even JEANS AND A T-SHIRT would be acceptable!*

HEY GIRLS!! Just wanted to remind you that you need to be blogging WEEKLY. It seems the gals who aren't keeping up on their blogs are also the ones who never sent me e-mail addresses so I have no way to remind them. Okay.. so we are still waiting for some snail mail money but I thought we could safely throw out ideas on how much prizes will be. We are going to have 3 prizes each month. Lets plan on the monthly prizes adding up to $200 per month. (This means we will have at least $250 for the overall winner. We can plan on throwing ANYTHING above and beyond that onto the top of the overall winner pot!!!) In general we will find that the overall winner will be placing every month so I promise they will win lots of money along the way!! ;o)

SOOOO If there is $200 to split 3 ways... how should we do it?

Throw out your suggestions or agree with a suggestion someone else throws out! Just make sure to make your voice heard!!!

Because this is a group competition we want your opinion. All of us contribute so all of us have a say in how things go. Of course, with such a large group we will have to go by the majority. We will have a prize at the end for the overall winner, but as far as monthly prizes go, we want to know... How many monthly winners should there be? You need to contribute $30.00-$40.00 to the money pot. Send the money thru paypal to this email addy: tammyjarman@gmail.com If you don't have a paypal, I can send you an invoice and you can pay with your debit card. If that won't work for you, use the same email addy to send me a note so I can send you my house addy for you to mail me money! :) Money must be sent by Saturday September 5th 2009.

You must have your own blog. AND update it once a week! (Post the link to your blog in the comments of this post!)This is so we can add you to the blogroll to keep up with your success, if you write it down you are more likely to stick to it, also we like to give support to our group members. Have a blogroll on your blog with all of us on there.

No diet drugs of any kind are allowed, and of course no puking or starving to loose weight. If anyone hears of anyone doing this, you will be immediately disqualified.

The money that you give to the BIGGEST LOSER GROUP is nonrefundable.

We will have a weigh in every 1st of every month. (Digital scales only) We will ask you to put a household item in the photo so we know it is legit. If you are 100% going to be in on this Challenge make sure you comment here along with your blog link to YOUR personal BL blog. Each person will contribute anywhere from $30.00- $40.00 into the money pot for monthly CASH prizes and the End CASH prize. Depending on the size of our group there might even be a 2nd place prize each month. This group is going to last from Sept 1st 2009 - Jan 1st 2010. This is a 4 month challenge!!!
